Welcome to my page and thank you for stopping by!
My name is Alexandria and Classroom Action with Ms. Jackson is my way of giving back to the teaching community by sharing ideas through blogging and creating resources. Learning, teaching children, and helping others has always been my passion. I am hooked on EVERYTHING education!
In college I studied Child Growth and Development and received my Bachelor of Science with licensure to teach grades K-8 from Tennessee State University. I went on to earn my Master of Education degree in Elementary Education and I received my Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. I hold licensure for PreK-12 Administration and Supervision, I am certified as a Reading Specialist, and I also have an endorsement to teach English Language Learner students in grades PreK-12.
I live in the great city of Nashville, where I have been a classroom teacher, an Instructional Coach, and most recently a Literacy Teacher Development Specialist. As an Instructional Coach and LTDS, my goal is to provide coaching and professional development in many different areas including classroom organization and management, literacy, numeracy, instructional strategies, assessments, and data analysis.
Through blogging I am able to share my passion and I am able to collaborate with lots of awesome teachers in the world and share amazing ideas that will help students learn. I am excited to share my world with you!
